Supporting the nation’s Breakfast Clubs
At Lockie Ltd we know that healthy eating is a key part of a child’s development and this shouldn’t stop at a well balanced lunch. Breakfast is considered by many to be the most important meal of the day.
Many primary schools encourage their pupils to eat well first thing in the morning by hosting a Breakfast Club. These clubs create a buzz around breakfast by giving kids the opportunity to eat with their friends.
Teachers can also teach their pupils about the types of food they should be eating to set them up for the day. The NHS Change For Life team list these as fruit and vegetables, starchy food such as toast, milk and dairy products and non-dairy proteins like eggs and fish.
We are getting behind the nation’s Breakfast Clubs with the launch of our new Breakfast Club Money Pockets, perfect for collecting funds from children who enjoy eating their breakfast at school.
